Meeting Dates and Deadlines 2011-2012

The Arts and Humanities Divisional Committee typically meets the third Thursday of each month at 1:30 p.m. Specific meeting dates are listed below. All items for the agenda must be received by divisional committees staff by noon three weeks before the meeting at which action is requested.

September 15 (deadline: noon on August 25): Course changes for the Spring 2012 Schedule of Classes must be approved no later than the September meeting. New courses can be added at any time.
October 20 (deadline: noon on September 29)
November 17 (deadline: noon on October 27)
December 15 (deadline: noon on November 28): Course changes for the Summer 2012 Schedule of Classes must be approved no later than the December meeting. New courses can be added at any time.
January 26 (note: fourth Thursday) (deadline: noon on January 5)
February 16 (deadline: noon on January 26): Course changes for the Fall 2012 Schedule of Classes must be approved no later than the February meeting. New courses can be added at any time.
March 15 (deadline: noon on February 23)
April 19 (deadline: noon on March 29): Tenure cases: only sixth-year promotion cases and cases of appointment with tenure will be considered at the April meeting. Early promotion cases will not be considered. Course proposals will be considered.
May 10 (note: second Thursday) (deadline: noon on April 19): Tenure cases: only cases of appointment with tenure will be considered at the May meeting. Promotion cases will not be considered. Course proposals will be considered.

Other deadlines:

January 3: Deadline for nominations for the Hilldale Award. The call for nominations will be sent in the fall.
February 1: Deadline for nominations for the Hilldale Lecture 2012-2013. The call for nominations will be sent in the fall.
