Report of the Nominations for Election to the Committee on Committees.
The Committee on Committees nominates the following faculty members for election by the Faculty Senate from among the current membership of the senate to fill vacancies on the Committee on Committees.
Physical Sciences Division candidates (faculty member will serve a two-year term):
Phillip Barak, Soil Science, District 19
James (Jake) Blanchard, Engineering Physics, District 41
Social Studies Division candidates (faculty member will serve a four-year term):
Karen Holden, Human Ecology, District 43
Richard Ralston, Afro-American Studies, District 78
Continuing Faculty Senate members on the Committee on Committees are: Linda Graham (Biological Sciences), Botany, District 47; and Lester Hunt (Arts and Humanities), Philosophy, District 66. Current members representing the divisional committees are: Glenn Chambliss (Biological Sciences), Bacteriology; Willis Tompkins (Physical Sciences), Biomedical Engineering; Bruce Wampold (Social Studies), Counseling Psychology; and member to be appointed (Arts and Humanities). Current members representing the University Committee are Murray Clayton (Biologocal Sciences), Plant Pathology/Statistics; and Julie D'Acci (Arts and Humanities), Communication Arts.
Additional nominations may be made from the floor at the 3 March 2003 Faculty Senate Meeting. Nominees must currently be members of the Faculty Senate and must be members of either the Physical Sciences Division or the Social Studies Division.
