Report of the Nominations for Election to the Committee on Committees.
The Committee on Committees nominates the following faculty members for election by the Faculty Senate from among the current membership of the senate to fill vacancies on the Committee on Committees. Faculty members serve a four-year term.
Harold Steudel, Industrial and Systems Engineering, District 38, physical sciences
Charles Fischer, Computer Sciences, District 52, physical sciences
Continuing Faculty Senate members on the Committee on Committees are: Linda Graham, Botany, District 47 (biological sciences); Karen Holden, Human Ecology and LaFollette School of Public Affairs, District 43 (social studies); and A. Nick Doane, English, District 55 (arts and humanities). Current members representing the divisional committees are: Antonia Schleicher, African Languages and Literature (arts and humanities); Linda Schuler, Comparative Biosciences (biological sciences); Willis Tompkins, Biomedical Engineering (physical sciences); and Bruce Wampold, Counseling Psychology (social studies). Current members representing the University Committee are Jim Escalante, Art (arts and humanities); and Robert Miller, Business/Statistics (social studies).
Additional nominations may be made from the floor at the 7 March 2005 Faculty Senate meeting. Nominees must currently be members of the Faculty Senate and must be members of the physical sciences division.
