  7. Report of the Nominations for Election to the Committee on Committees.

    The Committee on Committees nominates the following faculty members for election by the Faculty Senate from among the current membership of the senate to fill vacancies on the Committee on Committees.

    Biological Sciences Division candidates:
    Faculty member will serve a four-year term.
        Douglas Rouse, Plant Pathology, District 17
        Nizar Jarjour, Medicine, District 89

    Arts and Humanities Division candidates:
    Faculty member will serve a two-year term.
        Rachel Brenner, Hebrew and Semitic Studies, District 80
        Chelcy Bowles, Liberal Studies and the Arts, District 116

    Continuing Faculty Senate members on the Committee on Committees are: Charles Fischer, Computer Sciences, District 52 (physical sciences); and Karen Holden, Human Ecology and LaFollette School of Public Affairs, District 43 (social studies). Continuing members representing the divisional committees are: Keith Kluender, Psychology (social studies); Antonia Schleicher, African Languages and Literature (arts and humanities); and Linda Schuler, Comparative Biosciences (biological sciences). Current members representing the University Committee are Robert Mathieu, Astronomy (physical sciences); and Jim Escalante, Art (arts and humanities).

    Additional nominations may be made from the floor at the 6 March 2006 Faculty Senate meeting. Nominees must currently be members of the Faculty Senate and must be members of the biological sciences division or the arts and humanities division.
